Last week I urged people to do less quoting and more original thinking. So this is me taking my own advice.
I always write best in the morning. I feel like as the day goes on we get steadily beaten down by life’s many petty annoyances and obstacles, and it limits our creativity. The morning is all boundless possibility.
For me, at least. Your mileage may vary. I’ve always said the right process for writing is the one that works for you.
But if you find yourself in a rut, try shaking up your routine. If you’re a night person, try writing in the morning and see what happens.
